About the Event
The 3 day Academy (6:00 PM – 8:00 PM) is designed to provide disciplined training for athletes of all levels. Incoming grades 6 and 8 only please. Coach-to-athlete ratios will be no higher than 1 to 6. Each court or station will have a minimum of a master coach and an assistant coach. All athletes will receive technical training on all skills and will be provided position specific training each day. Training consists of footwork for all positions, arm swing repetitions, serving, blocking, and platform control. The cost is $120.00.
The focus will be on fundamentals, teamwork and communication. Emphasis will be placed on maximizing time on task, transfer of skills and ball control. Our support staff consists of collegiate coaches, high school coaches, club coaches, and college players that all bring a wealth of experience and enthusiasm.
