At Clear Springs High School, one of the most well-loved teachers is Mr. Mayberry. After school, you’ll find him tutoring, writing letters of recommendation, and checking in on the wellbeing of his friends and students. He never shies away from sharing a review of his most recent book or some interesting facet of history, and he always makes others feel as if what they say is the most interesting idea in the world. 

               
Because of his selfless nature, most are unaware of the personal hurdles which he leaves at the door when he comes in to teach each morning. His wife has been bravely battling breast cancer, and they’ve yet to complete repairs to their home after last February’s winter storm. Throughout his time at CSHS alone, he has not only shaved his head at a pep rally, but also biked 70 miles to support breast cancer research and community action.   

Because he has always taken care of the Clear Springs community (and beyond), fellow Chargers and Club South Volleyball would like to invite you to take part in The Mayberry Project. Please purchase a The Mayberry Project shirt or leave a donation. Shirt sales end Wednesday Feb. 16, 2022.
